Legendary biker Zubin Patel joins the Venom Ancillary family.
He hails from a family of bikers. What is admirable is that three generations of the Patel family have spent over 50 years in the business of motorsports in Mumbai. Zubin, who become a racing phenomenon in the 90s, had won virtually every national championship by the time he turned 27.
The Indian bike racing community had never seen anyone like the Patel youngster who won the rally championships for six consecutive years. What’s more he even won the national motocross champions twice.
Zubin was 27 and the hottest thing on wheels. He’d won everything in India and was on course to win another national championship. His riding journey was filled with adventures. Racing enthusiasts still remember the Kunzum La race, where his Shaolin literally flew off the edge of the world. While there is no credible reason as what could have causes this dangerous episode, it is understood that a blackout caused by low oxygen levels on a fast-moving bike, was the prime factor. After an eight-hour search, Zubin was found unconscious but alive in a tree, with no visible injuries. He was airlifted by the Indian army, spent days in the ICU, where he was declared clinically dead, but rose like a phoenix from the ashes. The only remnants from that accident include a metal plate in his left elbow and jaw. He has been involved in multiple accidents but has always not just survived but emerged stronger and more victorious.
Today, Zubin, who continues to inspire the millennial bikers in 2021 has joined hands with Venom Ancillary to offer training programs for bike lovers. There can be a no better git for the biking community than this decision.
